I find such joy in my garden. It truly is Summer bliss in the garden. I start planting late March into early April. As the days grow warmer, I find myself in the garden every morning in my pajamas with a cup of coffee. When I saw this pajama print from In My Sundays, I knew I HAD to have them. You can find the garden pajamas here if you want to snag some too! The vegetables are just darling. As my kiddos grow, they have learned the morning routine. We spend most mornings walking around and chatting about vegetables, buzzing bees and budding flowers.

I love to incorporate flowers in my vegetable garden. This year, Millie planted sunflowers. We are have been enjoying watching the flowers follow the sun throughout the day. I love to plant flowers with the herbs. I think alternating the heights of your plants and flowers is a nice way to spread out your plants for visibility. I also planted zinnias and cosmos.

I love a trellis in a garden. This creates the perfect space for cucumbers, beans, or peas. This year, I decided to try letting my cherry tomatoes grow against the trellis. I have secured the plants to the trellis as they grow. It is working so well! The kids LOVE picking off of the trellis.
There is such beauty in a garden. I love being able to adjust my plant selection and location every year. I could write about the garden all day. I love being able to grow vegetables and herbs. It truly is Summer bliss in the garden.
