Have you heard of Franklin, Tennessee? I feel like it is all over Instagram! For good reason I might add. This destination is straight out of a Hallmark movie! If you are looking for a cute town that is easy going, this place is worth a visit! Let’s recap where to go and what to do.

First, I will note that Franklin is near Nashville Tennessee. The heart of downtown Franklin is about 30 minutes from the Nashville Airport (BNA).
I recommend going in the morning and start your trip with a stop for breakfast at Merridee’s Breadbasket. You will find the cutest and coziest vibe with delicious drip coffee and biscuits and gravy. A southern staple! Also, there is a public restroom next to the bakery (helpful tip!).
Next, I would do some shopping! A trip to Franklin Tennessee is not complete until you check out White’s Mercantile. This store is so charming and lots of souvenirs that are not tacky! Also, this store at Christmas time is truly magical. I have a coffee cup from here that I use every week. Worth a visit!

Stop for an afternoon coffee at The Coffee House. The coffee here is so good and there are lots of places to sit and sip a while. The decor is so cozy and a classic coffee house. Delish! I got an iced vanilla latte and it was perfection.

Another area to check out about a mile from downtown Franklin called The Factory. The Factory is full of more food and shopping and a farmers market. There are lots of parking spots and restrooms (helpful tip!)
If you make it to The Factory, you have to grab a donut from Five Daughters Bakery! There are several locations around the Nashville area and they are famous for a reason. I recommend the salted chocolate flavor and the vanilla creme. Another sweet treat at The Factory is Jeni’s Ice Cream. They have the most interesting and tasty flavor combos.
If you are looking for food at The Factory, you should try Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. Another Nashville staple! And Mojo’s Tacos is a delicious place as well!
